Trusted worldwide, most notably in the mining industry, these cables are designed for wiring mobile equipment such as continuous miners, shuttle cars, road headers, and personnel transporters. Type 2S Mining cables consist of multiple stranded tinned copper conductors, insulated with an Ethylene Propylene Rubber (EPR) and individually shielded in a combination Tinned Copper and high strength Cotton spiral braid. The outer jacketing is flame resistant thermo-set heavy duty Chlorosulfonated Polyethylene (CSPE). The Armadillo range has an additional flame resistant Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) outer jacket. Available in configurations from 1.5mm² - 95mm² with variations of conductors, pilots and voltage of 600V or 2KV. All cables are printed with required voltage and temperature rating, as well as applicable regulatory approvals, and have traceability and sequential length markings.
